After Chloe died in February, Becky let me know she wanted to eventually spread Chloe's ashes in various spots in Yellowstone. I told her I would drive her whenever she wanted to do this.
Shortly after Chloe's celebration in Missoula in June, we started making plans and settled on a four day- three night visit in early August. Although we brought our scopes, we never touched them. This was not a visit in which we'd try to see wolves or any other critters. This was just about Chloe.
Here is my summary for the record.

Today I saw: A pair of elk along the Madison, two cormorants sunning themselves at 7 Mile Bridge. Geese on the creek at Fountain Flats. A coyote at Grand Prismatic and a poor, dead duck in orange runoff.
