Due to the Covid19 pandemic, most of my wolf watching friends and I decided to break our long-standing tradition of spending the Christmas holidays together in Yellowstone. I missed sharing Christmas treats and winter views of the wolves we follow but it seemed the safer choice.
I ended up having a safe, quiet holiday talking and zooming with family and friends, eating a variety of favorite meals (I love to cook) and re-watching Hobbit and Lord of the Rings movies.
But as New Year’s day loomed, the call of the Park was strong. I wanted to see Larry & Linda and to bring them their radio.
And I wanted to bring some traditional cookies, too, to whoever was there, watching wolves. I saw a good “weather window”
coming up and planned a quick, 28-hour visit.
